iPod car kits

An iPod is a class of digital audio players designed and marketed by Apple computers. It can be used as an external storage device.

BMW introduced the first iPod automobile interface. This interface allowed the drivers to control their iPod through the built-in steering wheel controls. Now Mercedes Benz USA, Volvo, Acura, Audi, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Honda and Volkswagen have similar systems. An iPod can be integrated into other vehicles also by using adaptor kits such as Peripheral Electronics’ iPod 2 car or Densions Icelink. Another method of adaptation is by the FM transmitter, such as iTrip. The Neo iON provides a direct connect to car stereos. The iPod car kit includes a cable that plugs directly into the iPod. Once plugged the cable charges and powers the iPod. It also controls the iPod using existing car stereo buttons. Other car kits include the iPod Windshield car mount, Wireless FM transmitter Car kit and iPod nano video. The iPod car kits of your choice can be purchased from iPod
